Joyous Pre-Diwali Celebrations at Parmarth Vidya Mandir & Parmarth Naari Shakti Kendra!

Today, we celebrated the festival of lights with the vibrant students of Parmarth Vidya Mandir and the children of Parmarth Naari Shakti Kendra at Chandreshwar Nagar, Rishikesh. The event was graced by our esteemed chief guests, Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President of Parmarth Niketan, and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati ji, President of Divine Shakti Foundation, along with the wonderful participants of our Yoga Teachers Training Course, who recently completed their training.
The festivities kicked off with inspiring words from Swamiji, encouraging the students to embody the values of Lord Ram and live with virtues of compassion, kindness, and peace. Sadhviji also reminded us to celebrate Diwali sustainably with clay diyas, supporting both tradition and the environment.
The highlight of the celebration was a cultural performance featuring Pahadi folk dances and a lively drama with students portraying Ram, Lakshman, and Hanuman. This beautiful performance captured everyone’s hearts, bringing smiles, laughter, and admiration from the audience, especially Swamiji and Sadhviji!
To conclude, YTTC participants, PVM teachers, and staff enjoyed delicious snacks and fruits with the students, making it a truly memorable day for everyone.
