Vaccinations at Swami Shukdevanand Charitable Hospital at Parmarth Niketan

May 11, 2021

“Corona is fear,” declares HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji. “Vaccination is hope!”

These inspiring and motivating words were offered by Pujya Swamiji as He toured the Swami Shukdevanand Charitable Hospital at Parmarth Niketan recently to observe the vaccination program being offered at the facility in cooperation with Parmarth, the Divine Shakti Foundation and the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance. While there, He was advised that, in just a few weeks, over 1200 divine souls in the 45-plus age group have received their inoculations, with those in the 18-and-over group eligible for the vaccine beginning on the 20 May.

“While fear of catching the Coronavirus infection is the dominating factor in our minds,” Pujya Swamiji continued, “we must have faith in the vaccines which will help us eradicate the disease. We must have full trust in the efficacy of the Indian vaccine. Ignore all the rumours, and continue to have trust.

“Corona has increased the importance of vaccines even more. The virus is a threat to all of our lives. Our economy is stalled and millions of people are dying. We must have a vaccine of ideas so that people can stay away from negativity, remain positive and inspire others to do the same.”

Pujya Swamiji concluded by saying “we must make the public aware of this vaccination program. We must not disseminate wrong information. And, we must be vaccinated to prevent Corona. These are the things we must do. And, above all else, we should – together – all express our support of the vaccination program for the public good, to build trust in the system so that everyone’s life can be protected.”

Let’s honour Pujya Swamiji’s powerful words and take a pledge to get vaccinated! For our health, and for the health of our loved ones and all of God’s beautiful creation!
