Day 1 of Gandhian Conference graced by Ministers & Interfaith Leaders

Here are some more highlights from the first day of the All India Gandhian Constructive Workers Conference with addresses by Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Thawarchand Gehlotji, Union Minister of State Agriculture Krishna Rajji, Union Minister of State Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ramdas Athawaleji and Minister of Health, Government of Delhi, Shri Satyendra Jainji.
There was also a special interfaith panel that begun the days proceeding just after the inaugural session with the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naiduji, with speeches and blessings by GIWA’s respected faith leaders:

Just after the Sarva Dharma Swachhta Session there was one just after lunch on Mahatma Gandhiji’s vision on Cleanliness (Swachhataya), Environment (Paryavaran) & Gram Swaraj followed by Importance of Cleanliness and Role of Harijan Sevak Sangh in Swachh Bharat Mission, concluding with beautiful cultural programme which included a powerful drama to inspire people to protect our environment. Each session concluded with pledges and commitments to take these learnings back to our communities, countries and regions and spread the values of Gandhiji with everyone.
